House at Joan Road (2005)
The open concept of the house is accentuated by golden travertino that is used throughout to allow the house to be read as a continuous and interconnected space. Conceived in sleek, minimal lines using a carefully selected palette of materials, each space has been designed to be part of the surrounding external environment. The swimming pool extends into the space between the living and dining rooms. A thin layer of glass separates the pool from the koi pond, which gives continuity to the two water features.
