Louis Poulsen, Singapore (2018)

Peter Tay recently completed Danish Lighting Brand Louis Poulsen's Flagship Store – the first outside Denmark – in Singapore. Located on Purvis Street, this 1,500sqft space is designed as experiential store, a store that not only caters to the showcasing and retailing of the lighting brand, but also one that allows the customer to understand and experience beauty of the Louis Poulsen exquisite designs.

Divided into three sections, the store is laid out in a progressive sequence that begins with the relation of Louis Poulsen's startling image with the street, proceeding onto a showcase of Louis Poulsen's iconic designs, and ending with a dramatic reflective light box, where the Louis Poulsen lamps are being reflected, multiplied and experienced in their different dimensions.
