“Time-Space-Existence” exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Italy 201 / by peter tay

Peter Tay will be taking part in the “Time-Space-Existence” exhibition organised by the Global Art Affairs Foundation (GAAF) at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Italy 2014. The exhibition will run from 7 June to 23 November 2014 at the Palazzo Bembo in Venice.

Entitled "Reflection(s)" the 27sqm space comprising a Gervasoni Zen Garden encased on three sides with a tinted acrylic partition and two LCD screens on the two opposite ends of the space. The composition creates a duality between spaces, which results in a cacophony of multiple reflections whose boundaries between them are blurred.

The "Time-Space-Existence” exhibition is one of the 21 Collateral Events at the 14th International Architecture Exhibition entitled Fundamentals, which is directed by Rem Koolhaas, organised by la Biennale di Venezia and chaired by Paolo Baratta. This exhibition has been selected by Rem Koolhass and promoted by the Global Art Affairs Foundation – a non-profit organisation. The aim of the exhibition is to contribute and enrich the diversity of voices that characterise the Venice Architecture Biennale by turning it into an urban phenomenon.
